Pathshala Overview

Each batch completes Satsang Diksha (Mukhpath Marvel, all 315 shlokas), receives its Sanman, then takes Visharad Year 1 and Year 2. Then the cycle repeats with the next batch.

The journey

The same four steps for every batch. In August 2027 every batch also joins a two-week retreat.

Satsang Diksha

Mukhpath Marvel: all 315 shlokas memorised, with milestone tests every 50.

The Satsang Diksha Vidvan Sanman, the batch's graduation ceremony.

Step 2

Visharad Year 1

About 80 classes, 2 a week, then 1 month of exam preparation. Around 11 months.

Step 3

Visharad Year 2

Starts after Year 1. Around 11 months, the same rhythm.

These dates are my reading of the plan. Correct any of them and the page will follow.

  1. Batch 2, Visharad Year 2: shown from 1 September 2027; say if it starts in August.
  2. Batch 3, Visharad Year 2: shown from January 2028, taken from the first sketch.
  3. Batch 4: Mukhpath Marvel dates come from the class calendar (2 Nov 2026 to the final recitation on 26 Jul 2027). The Sanman date isn't set yet.
  4. Retreat: the exact two weeks in August 2027 (shown as 2–15 August for now).
  5. Batch 5: when the next Mukhpath Marvel batch starts.
